Presentation: “Wherever Whenever” – Work Culture Festival at Orgatec 2024 in Cologne
Color is the largest and, above all, the most powerful communication system in nature and culture. Color vision is so important to our species that it accounts for the majority of our brain capacity. The diverse effects of colors on human experience and behavior are at the heart of modern, evidence-based color psychology.
Using examples from his research and design practice, Prof. Dr. Axel Buether will demonstrate the impact that light and color have on people’s well-being, health, satisfaction, and motivation at work. The projects presented and the accompanying studies also demonstrate how these effects can be systematically planned and evaluated.
