To the exhibition:
The exhibits on display provide direct sensory access to the phenomenon of color and thus complement the theoretical and practical levels of communication at the conference. The Color Light Lab led by Prof. Bachmann from the Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK) is currently developing new materials for integrative color-light teaching, which they are presenting to the public for the first time in an exhibition as part of the “Color in Education” conference. Walk-through room installations that allow visitors to immerse themselves in changing colored light baths as well as a variety of illustrative objects and virtual tools invite visitors to reflect and experiment on their own.
The research project was supported by the SNSF (Swiss National Science Foundation). Also on show were works by Josef Albers, Roland Fuhrmann, Karl Gerstner, Andreas Hofer, Martina Löw, Stefan Muntwyler, Carsten Nicolai, Ingo Nussbaumer, Rosalie, Tim Otto Roth and color-light-space projects by students of Burg Giebichenstein, taught by Prof. Dr. Axel Buether.
Curator Dr. Konrad Scheurman, content, organizational and financial responsibility: Prof. Dr. Axel Buether
