On 12. and From 13 October 2018, the HAWK – University of Applied Sciences and Arts, Hildesheim, Holzminden, Göttingen, Faculty of Design at the Weinberg Campus in Hildesheim is hosting an international conference on “Color in Design – The Value of Color” together with the Deutsches Farbenzentrum e.V. (DFZ). The collected areas of knowledge and application present current research and development issues with regard to the use of color in design.

The aim of the conference is to promote encounters and the exchange of knowledge and experience in the strategic application of color in design and architectural sub-disciplines. Lectures from various scientific, technological and design disciplines, as well as practical workshops, the color design forum and the light, color design and space laboratory encourage in-depth discussion of the topic. A joint evening event forms the supporting program of the conference.
