Party of high earners, party of social coldness – this image has long been attached to the FDP, now it is to be put to an end. The FDP wants to come across as more sympathetic and modern; in addition to changing the name affix “The Liberals” to “Free Democrats”, the FDP also wants to convince with a new look. The traditional party colors of blue and yellow are now complemented by a magenta bar that forms the background for the three party letters.
