Housing construction is currently a high priority because there is a shortage of living space, particularly in cities and their surrounding areas. In this situation, it is particularly important to keep an eye not only on housing requirements, but also on quality and sustainability in construction. After all, the built environment has a strong influence on well-being and health.
The 19th Construction Forum “Building and Health” on July 2, 2019 in Mainz is dedicated to this important topic and explores the question of which key factors have a decisive influence on good housing and living conditions.
The conference will be opened by the Rhineland-Palatinate Finance and Construction Minister Doris Ahnen and with a highly topical lecture by Prof. Dr. Lambia Messari-Becker on the subject of “Sustainable building – the durability of our actions”.
